A US citizen carrying $11m not arrested at the BIA
The Interior Ministry described on its Twitter account the news posted on ArabNet concerning Bahrain International Airport Customs officers’ detection of $11 million in possession of a non-resident US citizen in Bahrain as inaccurate.
The Interior Ministry Economic Crimes Director said no one has been arrested in connection with a financial case and what has been published by ArabNet is inaccurate.
He also added that money enters Bahrain lawfully after the competent bodies take the necessary legal procedures.
