New hematology unit at SMC on the way

Ministry of Works’ Construction Projects Director Mona Al Motawa visited the new Hematology Unit in Salmaniya Medical Complex to inspect work progress.

The new four storey building covers an area of 3334 square meters and is located on the North side of the old SMC. The building consists of four outpatient clinics, a reception hall, patients’ admission wards that include 50 beds distributed amongst the men, women and children wards, a day case (short stay) unit that accommodates 21 beds, in addition to the hematology unit and a conference and training room that accommodates 20 people.
