Batelco announces winners of Graffiti Art Contest

Batelco has presented prizes to the winners of its recent Graffiti Art Contest. Batelco’s first Graffiti Art Contest organized by the Company’s Youth Marketing Team, in association with Al Riwaq Art Space, in Adliya as part of a series of fun and exciting youth events. Ten youth urban artists competed live to win the top prizes for their artwork under the theme of Batelco Blackberry for SimSim Social.

Photos of the completed street art works were posted via Batelco’s social media sites including Facebook and Twitter and everyone was encouraged to ‘Like’ and retweet their top liked work to choose the winners. Following the vote, the Facebook winner was Samar Bushehri while the Twitter winner with top retweets was Amal Al Shaikh.

BlackBerry for SimSim Social is the popular mobile package priced at only BD3 per month aimed at Bahrain’s youth segment. The package offers BlackBerry service with access to all social media such as BBM, Twitter and Facebook, for those who like to stay connected at an affordable price. The participants were invited to Batelco Headquarters last week where the winners were presented with cheques to the value of BD300 each, while the other participants received BD50 each as a token of appreciation for their positive contribution in the contest.
