Bahrain still produces world’s best pearls

His Royal Highness the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who opened the 21st show, took a keen interest in the pearls while visiting the various stands
“Though Dana is very rare piece as at an average Dana constitutes 2% to 3% of the produce but it is still very much there. There has been a great interest in Bahrain’s pearls by the regional and the international markets and individual buyers,” Vijay explained.
Vijay said that black pearls remained a rare as out of 10,000 pieces there was a possibility of only one black pearl.
