Dubai continues to establish itself as a fun and entertainment hub in the Middle East. According to the Dubai Department of Commerce and Tourism Marketing (DTCM), there are currently 577 hotels operating in the Emirate with 75,171 rooms and increase in that capacity is expected by the end of the year with an additional 4,000 rooms being added.

DSS has transformed the summer season in Dubai by attracting visitors from across the region and boosting the economy of Dubai. Last year, it welcomed 4 million visitors with registered spending of Dh8.8 billion as compared to 600,000 visitors with spending of Dh850 million. DSS is also known for its array of activities which cater to the entire family, offering various indoor entertainment options including Modhesh World, Ski Dubai, Burj Khalifa, and world-class shopping malls among others.

Analysts monitoring tourism revealed that growth demand for hotel rooms will continue to increase in the Emirate and they believe that a time when the market will become saturated will never arrive for an evolving and constantly improving city like Dubai.

With the close of festivities of DSS 2012, the arrangements for welcoming guests for Ramadan and Eid festivals in Dubai are at full swing.
The organisers are promising ease of access and more fun, as new location at Dubai World Trade Centre features a free parking area which has a capacity of 2,000 cars and multi-storey in-door parking with a capacity of 1,200 cars for only Dh10 per day.
