Germany is not taking Syrian refugees

The German Foreign Office spokesman, Andreas Peschke said in a press statement so far all discussions and relief procedures focus on providing assistance to refugees wherever they are located. He explained that relief is provided in Syria and the surrounding areas.

German newspaper ‘Die Welt’ said today that parliament members from all parties represented in the German Parliament (Bundestag) support reception for Syrian refugees in their own country.
