HM the King welcomed them, lauding the advanced level of the Bahraini-French relations mainly in the financial and banking sector.
HM underscored Bahrain’s keenness to provide all facilities and laws to streamline the work of financial and banking establishments and lure foreign investments.
HM the King hailed the agreement signed by Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) and BNP Paribas to expand the company’s smelter with a French technology worth $2.5 billion.
HM underlined the role of the bank in financing industrial projects in Bahrain, wishing it more success.
The Chief Executive of BNP Paribas Middle East expressed thanks and respect to HM the King for continuous support accorded to the bank by relevant authorities in Bahrain, lauding the kingdom’s good regional and international reputation in the financial, banking and investment fields.
The meeting was attended by Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Royal Court follow-up Minster Shaikh Ahmed bin Atiyatallah Al Khalifa, Alba Board Chairman Mahmood Al Kooheji and Chief Executive Laurent Schmitt.
