No letup in maintaining law and order

Minister for Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa said the Government would remain committed to restore law and order and normalcy in the country.

Shaikh Khalid during Meet the Press told journalists that we would continue to restore normalcy in the country by using all legal means.

Referring to the incidents of vandalism on the roads by blocking highways and arson attacks on expatriates by workers of so called political societies, the Minister warned that it was the basic duty of the government to maintain the law and order by taking all necessary legal steps.
He condemned the so called political parties for instigating youngsters to create panic through cowardly acts like blocking roads, burning tyres on the highways.
