The second Amwaj Marina Market held on Saturday in the picturesque Amwaj Islands Marina, attracting hundreds of visitors and families from all over Bahrain.
Fully booked weeks in advance, the second market had over 70 different vendors selling a variety of goods such as, paintings, photos, clothing, jewellery, shoes, traditional arts and crafts, handmade fascinators, pet products and greeting cards, at very attractive prices.
This market also featured food stands ranging from Indian food, to freshly grilled burgers and fried chicken, homemade sweets, candied apples, cupcakes and more.
The next market will be held on Saturday, 5th February 2011 and will be followed by markets on the first Saturdays in March and April before stopping for the summer.
