Batelco, Bahrain’s leading telecommunications company has announced the winner of its premium mobile number 39200000. Bahraini Abdulla Mohamed Ahmed Isa was presented with the Postpaid SIM Card with the much sought after premium number at a prize giving ceremony held at Batelco Headquarters in Hamala.
All Batelco Postpaid and Prepaid Mobile customers with active lines were eligible to participate in the promotion to win the number. Customers were asked to guess the missing numbers represented by X and Y in 39XYYYYY and text the number to 95999. Those who guessed correctly were entered into the draw to win, with customers permitted to enter as often as they wished.
The Guess & Win campaign which took place in December 2010 was very popular with Batelco’s mobile customers and rounded off a year packed with top value promotions and special offers.
“Each year Batelco rolls out many campaigns with the aim of offering something special for every category of our customers,” said Batelco General Manger Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi.
“Premium numbers are prized possessions so we were delighted to give our mobile customers the chance to win a special number such as 39200000,” he added.
Isa said he was very happy to have been so lucky with Batelco in winning the special VIP number.
“I am looking forward to using my VIP number, which is something I have always wanted to own. My family and friends are delighted for me,” he said.
