BBK as part of its ongoing Al Hayrat savings account scheme which offers exciting opportunities for its customers to win prizes presented a winner with half a million dollar cash prize at a glittering ceremony held at the bank’s main office in Manama on Monday.
The bank has announced the winner of the Grand Prize draw. The draw, in Al Hayrat’s 10 year anniversary, offered Bahrain’s biggest single lump sum cash prize of $500,000.
Dr Munther Suwaileh, a father of three, radiologist at the Bahrain Defense Force Hospital was announced as the lucky grand prize winner. He received the star treatment, commencing with being collected in a stretch limousine and was presented with his cheque for $500,000 by A. Karim Bucheery, Chief Executive of BBK in the main branch Monday during a special handover ceremony. The reception was attended by GM Shaikh Rashed Al Khalifa and Reyadh Sater, alongside senior management from the bank.
The grand prize draw represented the culmination of a year’s worth of prizes totaling $1,500,000. All investments made by 16th December 2010 were eligible for the draw. The greater the amount invested, the greater the chance of winning.
Dr. Suwaileh expressed his excitement at the win and stated that he hasn’t made any plans on how to spend the winnings yet, but is very thankful to BBK for this amazing, life-changing win. A Karim Bucheery, CE of BBK congratulated Dr. Suwaileh and his family on this amazing win. “We are proud to offer Al Hayrat which has been and still is a really exciting prize winning journey for our customers for the past 10 years,” he said.
Al Hayrat also provides its most loyal customers with the opportunity to win a bonus prize of $50,000. The draw for the loyalty prize will take place alongside the draw for the first prizes of 2011 in March.
