Waitrose, managed by Dubai based Fine Fare Food Market LLC, announced the opening of its new store in Bahrain on Thursday. Located at The Lagoon, Amwaj Islands, this will be the third store outside of the UK with two stores operating successfully in the United Arab Emirates.
Fine Fare Food Market LLC (FFFM) manages the store in Bahrain through their local operating company Supa Save Bahrain WLL.
The store will offer an assortment of Waitrose branded products as well as locally-sourced products to meet the needs of the Bahrain customer demographic. The wide product range includes fresh and frozen foods, bakery, delicatessen, cheese, fresh fish, meat, patisserie and hot food counters. Considering local tastes and traditions, the store will only sell certified halal food in the main store arena. The store will also carry a selected range of John Lewis home ware.
