Safeguarding the Kingdom’s stability and security, the protection of its landmark achievements and commitment to its unity and cohesion are the basics of true and responsible citizenship, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa praised calls went out for greater adherence to rationalism and wisdom as means to sustain the country’s strength amid the current situation.
HRH Premier appreciated highly all initiatives aiming to help the kingdom overcome the current situation safely through creating suitable conditions for ensuring the success of the comprehensive national dialogue.
“We are confident that Bahrain, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the strong resolution of its people, will emerge from the on-going situation stronger and more solid,” HRH said as he chaired a work meeting, attended by Deputy Premiers, ministers and officials.
During the meeting, HRH Premier reviewed the service projects included the government work plan, especially educational, health and housing ones, calling upon the concerned sides in the government to come up with new projects and visions that can upgrade the citizens’ living standards.
During the same meeting, Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa staged a presentation on the Ministerial Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs’ work so far regarding the irregularities mentioned in the National Financial and Administrative Audit Court’s report.
In this context, HRH Premier re-affirmed that the government will not tolerate any irregularities, shortcomings or corrupt practices should the committee proves their existence and will take legal action against any government department found guilty of them.
