He made the comments as he received a group of Future Movement youngsters and Beirut-based families. “There are parties that are intent on turning Bahrain into a chaos by exporting revolutions to other Arab countries.
These proxies are behaving as if they were the spiritual and intellectual fathers of these revolutions”, he added, describing such stances as exceeding the limits support and solidarity, thus turning Lebanon into a card to fuel internal conflicts in other Arab countries.
He accused Hezbollah “leaders” of plotting to engineer Iranian-styled change in Arab countries. “Hezbollah “leaders” want Lebanese to agree turning their country into a platform to export revolutions and ensure the party’s yellow flags and banners are hoisted in all Arab capitals as it is happening now in Beirut”, he said.
He pointed out that the majority of Lebanese reject such policies which risk driving their country into the politics of poles in the region. He added the blatant inference of Hezbollah “leaders” in Bahrain’s internal affairs seeks to push Lebanese into playing dangerous roles dictated by fatwas issued by influential regional countries. Meanwhile, Lebanese Forces Mp Antoine Zahra voiced concerns over Hezbollah secretary general Hassan Nasralah’s speech, which risks to put Lebanon in diplomatic impasse in its international relations. He also accused Nasrallah of being part and parcel of the Iranian project and agenda in the region. He lauded Bahrain, describing it as an integral part of the GCC. “Over 600,000 Lebanese live in the GCC and contribute by up to the third of Lebanon’s economy”, he said.
