Bahrain will always remain a vivid model of toleration and co-existence,” His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said as he received representatives of churches in Bahrain.
He added that Bahrain would remain a home for all and a land of love, equality and co-existence between all religions hailing contribution of all components of the Bahraini society to protect national achievements and unity.

He lauded loyalty and the sense of belonging shown by all religious sects in Bahrain during the recent crisis.
“The bitter experience undergone by Bahrain has taught us that the social strength lies in unity and cohesion and any attempt to drive wedges will fail,” HRH the Prime Minister stressed.
“Bahrain has been able, thanks to the contribution of all factions, to lay down the bases of a modern country characterized by harmony, cohesion and love among all,” he said.
“All divine religions share the same values of love and tolerance despite our differences. However, God wanted these differences he created in us to be an incentive to get closer to one another for the common benefit of all mankind,” he added.

“The cultural and social ingredients in Bahrain are based on melting all sects in the same cauldron, freedom of religion and acceptance of the other,” he emphasized pointing out that such fundamentals are guaranteed by the constitution for they are values that can never be compromised in a country that respects human rights.

“All Bahrainis, regardless of their different faiths and doctrines, have to work for the benefit of the kingdom and its prosperity, security and stability as no one is immune when threats loom. We are all partners sharing the same homeland and bound by a common destiny and goal which is to ensure a thriving nation benefiting all,” HRH the Prime Minister asserted.

“Religious and doctrinal differences are a cultural feature characterizing the Bahraini people and a source of power for them to confront crises,” He said urging all to stand united and defend their nation.
He also prayed God Almighty to protect the kingdom as well as its cultural heritage and positive social diversity which represent a strong bulwark against any evil plot to weaken its social texture. He hoped Bahrain would always remain an oasis of peace and security for all.
