“We have learnt a lot from the recent crisis that gripped Bahrain, and we will do our utmost to maintain security and stability across the Kingdom,” HRH Premier said, noting that the massive political mobilization and incitement orchestrated by internal and external sides against Bahrain has faded and failed because of Bahraini people’s awareness and rejection incitements and foreign agendas.
Speaking as he received, at his court, a number of senior Ruling Family Members, MPs, officials and citizens, HRH Premier described the recent unrest in Bahrain as “unusual and cruel acts carried out by a group of people who wanted to harm their nation and compatriots, noting that “we are urged, now more than ever, to promote the values of patriotism and co-existence between the components of the Bahrain society in order to be able to heal the rifts caused by those regretful incidents.”
“With resolution and strong determination, we are able to bring things back to normal in order to be able to carry on building a modern nation based on science and wisdom, with highly committed citizens, which will optimize achievements at all levels,” he added.
HRH Premier also indicated that freedom of expression is protected in the kingdom thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s clear vision, noting that the attempts by some to misuse the atmospheres of freedom, openness and tolerance prevalent in the kingdom and make them tools of destruction were foiled thanks to the loyal Bahraini citizens’ rallying and unity behind their nation and wise leadership.
HRH Premier also affirmed that promoting security, safety and stability are top priorities, adding that those who offended the kingdom will get their due, and “law will be applied strictly on all.”
“There is no place for the fearful and we are all required to join ranks in order to bring about security and stability across our beloved nation. Destruction is swift, but construction takes time,” he added, asserting that Bahrain will remain an oasis of co-existence and tolerance, as it has always been.
HRH Premier was wonder-struck at the attempts made by some to take the country to the unknown in spite of its advanced political reforms and transparent elections that involved everybody.
HRH Premier also lauded the fraternal supportive stances voiced by the GCC states, especially Saudi Arabia, towards Bahrain, asserting that their keenness to promote peace and stability in the Kingdom stem from the common destiny principle linking GCC countries.
“The security of the GCC region is vital for that of the whole world,” he added.
