A Bahraini citizen Me’ad Ali Abdulla denied what have been reported by a lawyer Khaled al-Shatti on dissemination his image in Kuwaiti TV ‘’ Al Watan’’.
By displaying this picture Shatti claimed that he was killed by security forces in Bahrain.
The Bahraini citizens affirmed that he is “alive”, and called Al Shatti and people like him to be honest in reporting news or any kind of information.
Me’ad 48-year-old, works at the Bahrain Flour Mills Company regretted the way that Shatti displayed his picture as the deceased and said, “thank God I’m blessed with district and, unfortunately, that picture abused me and my family and my nation”.
In an interview with Bahraini TV Show ‘’ Al Rased’’, Me’ad said ‘’ thank God we are blessed here in the Kingdom of Bahrain thanks to the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.’’
He said that during the last violence acts in Sitra, one person asked him to spray powder on his face and take a picture of him. Me’ad said unfortunately he responded to him and he really regretted that. And later this picture was used by Al Shatti at “Taw Al Lail’’ programme at ‘’ Al Watan’’ TV and that he didn’t know that such act will harm him and harm his country.
