Dr Fakhro urged the all parties to join hands together in helping to improve the situation and access normal level of various activities in this important sector.
This came during a meeting hosted by the ministry with managers of all major hotels, tourism companies, airlines, BCCI officials and the businessmen.
The minister stressed the importance of proposals and promotions that can restore thing to normal. Dr Fakhro stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain would be able to shun all negative effects and get out of such crises.
The minister heard views and proposals that could help move the commercial, tourism and hotel activities back by various efforts including hosting consumer exhibitions for shops that have been affected in the recent crisis.
The Minister also stressed the need of hosting cultural and heritage events for families and sports competition and other such events that would return movement tourists to Bahrain from the region and the world.
The minister praised efforts made by commercial sector representatives who had stand with the government to restore the movement to normal both in markets and commercial complexes.
Dr. Fakhro assured the meeting that all proposals and views discussed would be added into a study by stakeholders and would take necessary actions, noting in the context, the importance of coordination between all parties so we can reach the level required of activities of all sectors.
