The Shura Council hailed the royal speech given by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during a meeting with Bahraini officials and citizens.
It valued the royal confidence in loyal Bahrainis who have been able to protect their country, families, values and religion.
It underlined the need for concerted efforts to further boost national unity citing HM the King’s words that “Bahrain will always remain the symbol of co-existence, cooperation and rejection of sedition and divide.”
“We will always remain one closely-knit family,” the council heard hailing HM the King’s pledge to keep reform and progress on.
“With resolve and hard work we will achieve our aspirations for progress and prosperity in all fields. We will continue working hand in hand for a brighter future to our nation and the posterity,” the council stressed praising support of brotherly and friendly countries as well as regional, Arab and international organizations to ensure civic peace nationwide.
