Bahrain is to hold by-elections next September 24 to fill the vacant parliamentary seats, Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, adding that the second round of those elections will take place on October 1, 2011.
Shaikh Khalid called upon all citizens to take part in those elections so as to safeguard the landmark national achievements attained under the umbrella of the pioneering Reform Project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, enhance the reform march and promote legitimate constitutional democratic practices.
