The General Secretary of the Supreme Council of Judiciary Affairs announced that the Court of Cassation’s Technical Office received the case number 75/2011 regarding the execution rule from the National Safety Court of Appeal where the case will undergo the usual legal procedures.
The General Military Prosecutor of the Bahrain Defence Force has stated that the Military Prosecution has forwarded the file of the case of the murder of two policemen to the civil General Prosecution, as stipulated by Article 1 of Royal Decree (48) for 2011. The capital punishment verdict inflicted on Ali Abdulla Hassan Al Sinkees and Abdulaziz Abdul Ridha Ibrahim Hassan will be re-examined by the civil Cassation Court, according to Articles 40 and 41 of Legislative Decree No.(8) of 1989 on the establishment of the Cassation Court.
