Social Development Minister and acting Health Minister Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Blooshi met with the representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), currently on a visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Blooshi discussed with the ICRC Representative ways of bolstering and consolidating joint cooperation between Bahrain and ICRC, reiterating the kingdom’s commitment to the human rights standards.
She also hailed ICRC’s humanitarian initiatives.
ICRC Representative expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the government of Bahrain for its cooperation with ICRC and support for all its humanitarian programmes, relief operations and plans to promote humanitarian principles and values.
Assistant Undersecretary for Primary Healthcare and Public Health Dr. Mariam Al Jalahma, the Ambassador at the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Court Said Al Faihani, Khalifa Al Ka’abi and officials from the Interior Ministry and the General Prosecution attended the meeting.
