Affirming Jordan’s commitment to empower top tier companies to expand their businesses throughout the country, His Majesty King Abdullah II will welcome over 150 leaders, representing global organizations in both private and public sectors, to the inaugural Jordan-U. Business Forum to be held at the King Hussein Business Park in Amman, Jordan on May 21, 2011.
Designed to foster mutually beneficial business opportunities in a collaborative environment, the Forum will provide executives with personal access to high-level colleagues from a broad range of industry sectors including entertainment, tourism, technology, energy, health, manufacturing, logistics and infrastructure.
At a time when parts of the Middle East are experiencing unprecedented change, the Jordan-US Business Forum is a proclamation that it’s “Business as Usual” in Jordan, a safe beacon of stability in the region. This initiative is expected to result in the creation of thousands of jobs and generate millions of dollars/dinars through local economic expansion.
The Forum’s plenary and breakout sessions will reflect the event’s underlying theme of leveraging Jordan’s competitive advantages to advance mutually beneficial business opportunities, and include opening remarks from His Majesty King Abdullah II, panel discussions on such issues as overcoming business challenges and expanding bilateral economic cooperation, and an interactive session on creativity.
