The General Director of Northern Governorate Police on Thursday arrested an individual on the charges of kidnapping, with the help of other two, a 13 years old minor and allegedly sexually assaulted him. The police raid carried out raid in association with the General Directorate of Capital Governorate.
He explained that the three suspects kidnapped the minor while he was returning from school and promised him they would drive him home. They took him to a farm in Karzakan and tried to sexually assault him, but they couldn’t succeed as the victim kept fighting and screaming. They dumped in one area and ran away.
He said that with the cooperation with the General Directorate of Capital Governorate, one of the suspects was arrested and he confessed the charges. The case was referred to the Public Prosecution and search will continue for the other suspects.
