Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa took part at the 36th GCC extraordinary ministerial meeting where the ministers discussed developments in Yemen and reviewed efforts to overcome the crisis there in order to restore peace and security in this country.
The GCC Ministerial Council regretted the suspension of the initiative to resolve Yemeni crisis, asserting their support to the people of Yemen to overcome this hard times for better future.
They also discussed issues of common concern in addition to regional and international issues.
