Bahrain National Insurance (bni), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bahrain National Holding Company, has launched its e-cargo service via its web-portal www.bnidirect.com.
The service comes as part of bni’s commitment to its clients in providing innovative solutions to the administration of their insurance needs as well as setting a new benchmark in the local insurance market being the Kingdom’s pioneer insurers.
The e-cargo service allows the users to acquire online cargo covers anytime and anywhere; download online policy documentation that conforms to letter of credits requirements and/or port authorities’ regulations; and the ability to track the status of claims registered with bni.
“This service is one of a series of others which we are currently studying in line with our strategic approach to provide quality insurance products and services aimed to ease the insurance process on our clients. It is a technologically driven service; a virtual insurance service that is reliable, convenient and secure,” Joseph Rizzo, General Manager of General Insurance at bni said.
