His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in a statement posted by the BNA said that patriotism and keenness to protect national achievements have shown citizens’ strong will and determination to overcome the recent incidents.
HRH Prime Minister, who received a Pledge of Allegiance from the Shura Council to the leadership, said the honourable stance was the bulwark which protected the nation and imparted a spirit of confidence and resolve to confront dangers.
He received Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh and his Deputy Chairmen. He pointed out that Bahrain would always remain the land of unity for it has never slid into sectarianism and any attempt to push it towards that will fail.
He called to instill in children love and loyalty to their homeland in order to preserve the distinguished Bahraini model of national co-existence.
“Loyalty to the nation and leadership is an inherited trait of the Bahraini people. For this reason, the Bahraini social texture is impenetrable,” HRH the Prime Minister stressed.
“Co-existence and social unity are inherent features of the Bahraini people and will always remain so. Therefore, attempts to disunite the Bahraini people have failed,” he said hailing the Shura Council’s role in the democratic process.
Al Saleh reiterated allegiance to the leadership stressing support to the efforts exerted to restore security and stability and maintain national unity.
