His Excellency Mirza was briefed about the 24X7 News project which is managed by Two Way Communication WLL a Media, Public Relations, Conferences and Event Management Company. The 24X7 News has achieved many accolades including winning of the e-Content Award 2011 in addition to the steady increase in the viewership which spread over 170 countries worldwide in less than five months since launch in February.
His Excellency the Minister of Energy welcomed the Editor 24X7 News and welcomed on wining the eContent Award 2011 being the best English Portal in the Kingdom and praised the efforts of the media and journalists and provided by the media of all kinds of great tasks of benefit and interest to the community. During the meeting, was discussed and reviewed several economic issues, especially with regard to the subject of oil and gas and energy. They also discussed the oil projects implemented by the National Oil and gas as well as programs and plans of Electricity and Water Authority, and efforts aimed at developing the energy sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Mahmood Rafique extended his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Energy for his warm welcome and what has examined and discussed during the meeting, praising the efforts of His Excellency the Minister of Energy’s efforts to promote the energy sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting was also attended by Dr Ahmed Alsharyan Director at the Minister’s office.
