Deputy Prime Minister Jawad Salem Al Arrayed and head of the special panel that was formed to find out the reasons that led to events of 14th of February 2011, declared that the committee will continue its work to find out the reasons and circumstances that lead to the death of a number of citizens and residents at that period within the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Deputy Prime Minister has issued a decision on adding new members to the committee including Shaikh Adel Al Moawda, Abdulla Al Buanain, Khalid Hassan Ajjaji, Yusuf Abdulhussain Khalaf, Dr. Mohammed Ali, Othman Shareef, Dr Ahmad Farhan and Jameela Ali Salman.
He added that the committee and in order to carry out its task efficiently is communicating with the concerned bodies, adding that the committee has the authority to summon persons to take their evidences.
Arrayedh asserted that the committee is following the procedure of justice while carrying its tasks. The Committee will forward its final report to His Majesty immediately no later than 10th of August 2011.
