His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the BDF Supreme Commander, visited the BDF General Command, accompanied by his personal representative Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He was received by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and Chief of Staff Major General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa.
HM the King met officers from the BDF, Interior Ministry and the National Guard and thanked them for their remarkable efforts during the State of National Safety as well as their dedication in serving their nation.
The officers expressed loyalty to HM the King stressing their readiness for any duty assigned to them.
