The three-day the 5th GCC Public Relations Forum will be concluded on Wednesday.
Held under the patronage of the Minister of Social Development and acting Minister of Health Dr Fatima Al Balushi the event was organized by the Bahrain Public Relations Society and Act Smart Public Relations Consultancy held at Sofitel Hotel in Zallaq.
The event began by an opening speech by the forum’s secretary general and president of the Bahrain Public Relations Society Dr Fahad Ibrahim Al Shehabi during which he thanked Dr Al Balushi for patronizing the event. Dr Al Shehabi also emphasized the important role played by spokespersons that was noticeable lately during the sad events that Bahrain went through.
Dr Al Balushi in her speech emphasized on the importance of the society and its activities towards developing this lively profession. She also expressed her happiness for the continuation of this forum for the fifth consecutive year reflecting the organizer’s commitment towards achieving what they have sought out to accomplish. Following that Brigadier Tariq Al Hasan the Ministry of Interior’s spokesman presented to the attendees the media challenges that faced by the ministry during the last period and how it was able to overcome them. In another speech the Secretary General of the Arab Media Forum Madi Khamis who emphasized the prosperity enjoyed in the Kingdom of Bahrain under its leadership.
The forum also included a session on means of interacting with media bodies and the second workshop would focus on “body language” that would finally be concluded with “the utilization of speech skills”
