The IFJ officials welcome the move, stressing their full support.
They also urged the BJA to finalise their vision regarding the proposed committee stressing that each country has its own specific rules and laws which need to be taken into account.
Al-Murdi reaffirmed the new-look BJA board to follow-up the conditions of Bahraini journalists in general.
He also pointed out that some journalists were living abroad for unknown reasons and stressed that they are sued for either press or criminal cases, adding that they could return back home to Bahrain any time they like.
The BJA delegation visited London last week as part of efforts to step up coordination and cooperation with prominent Arab and foreign media institutions.
The delegation visited London-based British and Arab newspapers including Al-Hayat, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Express, in addition to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and discussed with them various avenues of cooperation.
The delegation includes BJA deputy chairman Moaness Al-Murdi, Treasurer Mohanned Suleiman, Liberties Committee Mohammed Al-Ahmed and International Relations Committee chief Abdulla Al-Mannai.
