In conjunction with a partnership signed by Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and Research in Motion (RIM), VIVA have secured a strategic agreement with RIM that aims at providing a wide range of content, applications and smart solutions for Blackberry users in Bahrain.
“The strategic partnership between VIVA and RIM launches the highest levels of coordination between the two companies to fulfil the need for cutting edge technologies and unique services that customers have come to expect from us,” said Andrew Hanna, Chief Commercial Officer at VIVA.
As a result of this new partnership, VIVA customers can now pre-book the BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 device with its exceptional design, touch-screen and Blackberry 7 operating system.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 comes with a 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen and a magnificent resolution for its size – 640×480. It is a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE handset, and also supports a tri-band HSPA. This device also sports a 5MP camera, 768MB of RAM and 8GB of built-in memory. It is set to launch with BlackBerry OS 7 and NFC support.
