The agreement will enable Menatelecom to continue the expansion and development of its WiMAX network with advanced voice and broadband services; for both consumers and enterprises across the Kingdom of Bahrain. With Huawei’s high-tech and forward thinking capabilities, Menatelecom will be ideally positioned to further develop advanced services for its customers in Bahrain.
Huawei Technologies will join global giant Tech Mahindra in Managing Menatelecom’s cutting-edge WiMAX 16e network and ensuring that Menatelecom continues to provide the most powerful internet services in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The official signing ceremony was attended by Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat, CEO and Managing Director of Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain and Chairman of Menatelecom, Senior Executives from Menatelecom along with Huawei Middle East regional representatives; Stephen Yi, President and Gorden Wu, Vice President.
“Since the launch of its WiMAX services, Menatelecom has had the unique opportunity of significantly contributing towards the development of the Kingdom’s technological advances and make a significant mark on a global scale while at the same time creating a prosperous telecom business.
