Bapco officials attend a key Tamkeen presentation

In collaboration with Bapco, Tamkeen organized a presentation at the Refinery. The objective of the presentation was to make Bapco aware of Tamkeen’s strategies, services and offerings. The presentation reviewed Tamkeen’s overall objectives which aim at improving professional skills of national workforce and making Bahrainis the employee of choice, in addition to prompting inward investment into Bahrain. The presentation reviewed three broad programmes under Tamkeen’s umbrella which are of particular interest to Bapco. These programs broadly cover human capital development, received initiatives, i.e. proposals for learning and development programmes which originate with employers, and career progression. The presentation also touched on other key areas related to the Tamkeen’s overall objectives, including apprenticeship programmes, an ethics programme, career progression and the development and implementation of competency frameworks. The presentation was conducted by Tamkeen officials and attended by members of Bapco Management.
