The GCC states have called for an immediate meeting of Arab League states at foreign ministers’ level to discuss the “extremely dire situation in Syria in particularly the humanitarian conditions, and study ways to stop the bloodshed and the machine of violence.
“The call to convene a pan-Arab on the ministerial level came in view of the deteriorating conditions in Syria and following consultation between GCC foreign ministers”, the statement said.
