Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO of KFH-Bahrain, received at his office the Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Yang Weiguo, to discuss a number of projects that the Bank could establish in partnership with Chinese companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Ambassador and Alkhayyat also discussed a number of business issues including attracting Chinese investments to the Kingdom and KFH-Bahrain projects, in particular Diyar Al Muharraq, as well as the global economic climate.
A recent report by Bahrain’s Economic Development Board indicated that China is currently the third largest non-GCC market for Bahrain exports while it is the second largest importer into the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Alkhayyat praised the role played by China in business and economic fields which serves many sectors in the Kingdom especially trade and industry.
Alkhayyat thanked the Ambassador for the opportunity to meet at KFH-Bahrain’s offices to discuss matters which are mutually beneficial.
