He said the requirements of modern life provided by the government for citizens in Bahrain cannot be found in many countries according to international reports and specialized indices.
HRH the Prime Minister was speaking as he received senior officials, in the presence of Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs President Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and Parliament Chairman Khalifa Al Dhahrani. He underlined the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to work out optimum mechanisms to ensure all Bahrainis benefit from the dividends of the citizen-oriented development schemes carried out by the government.
“The leadership in Bahrain has chosen dialogue as a way never to veer off. We are all ears to exchange views with anyone who cares for the national interest and seeks to boost national achievements,” he said.”Our main aim is to improve citizens’ living conditions and ensure their welfare. We will never derail from this top priority despite attempts to preoccupy us with other issues,” HRH the Prime Minister pledged urging ministries to carry out programmes to raise citizens’ awareness of the strenuous efforts exerted to ensure their security, stability and well-being.
He also directed to exert more efforts to further improve the kingdom’s infrastructure and upgrade the performance of public transport. He instructed to conduct a detailed study to work out a new mechanism to alleviate traffic congestions stressing the importance of having a modern road network in luring investments.
