A box containing forty pieces of gold and diamonds has been stolen from a jewellery store in Manama, the Director-General of the Capital Governorate Police announced today.
The items, valued between BD 10000 to 15000, were robbed by two women, he added, quoting the store owner.
Police patrols were deployed to the crime scene as soon as the Directorate was notified of the burglary in order to start investigations and arrest the thieves, he also said.
