The Ministry of Foreign Affairs undersecretary Ambassador Abdullah Abdulatif Abdullah met with ambassadors of Arab and Asian countries as well as the UN representatives in Bahrain.
During the meeting the undersecretary briefed them on the steps taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of reinforcing human rights following the recent incidents witnessed by the country during the months of February and March of this year which included the setting up of a Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) that would issue its report November 23, 2011.
Moreover, he also highlighted the establishment of a national fund to compensate those affected along with other steps.
For their part the foreign and Arab ambassadors extended their thanks to the undersecretary on his continued communication with them regarding the latest developments on the local arena.
