The Governmental-work team in charge of studying the BICI Report recommendations today held a key meeting at Gudaibiya Palace and reached the decisions.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa chaired the session, which discussed appropriate steps to carry out the recommendations, adopting a roadmap to ensure their achievement within a suitable time frame.
HRH the Premier reaffirmed strong resolve to implement the recommendations.
“There is no excuse for all parties not to carry out the recommendations and come out with the forward-looking visions we all desire to ensure a better future for Bahrain,” he said, urging commitment to the recommendations. He also called upon all parties to show sincere intentions, support security and stability, stop all subversive acts and avert seditions for the efforts of reform and development to proceed.
HRH the Premier expressed his confidence that advocates of reform would support the implementation of the recommendation and cooperation to ensure their translation on the ground.
