VIVA Bahrain completed its network upgrade to 42Mbps ahead of the anticipated schedule. VIVA broadband and mobile customers can now avail of maximum data speeds around the Kingdom, thanks to a robust and stable network that covers the island.
Declared Bahrain’s fastest and best-quality network by the TRA’s Quality of Service report earlier this year, VIVA remains Bahrain’s leading broadband provider with regards to speed and quality.
The completion of the upgrade comes a few weeks ahead of schedule, thanks to both dedicated efforts by the VIVA core team and the commitment of its vendors. “We are extremely proud of our accomplishments on the network and technology fronts,” Ulaiyan Al Wetaid, Acting CEO at VIVA, said.
“VIVA’s network is without a doubt the Kingdom’s most robust, as evidenced by the TRA and independent third-party surveys. It has entailed a lot of hard work but our efforts have paid off and our customers are reaping the rewards.”

This has been particularly evident in the course of the recent introduction of mobile number portability in Bahrain, which allows mobile users to easily change their network provider while keeping their number.
