Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) announced the annual camp 2011-12 at the campsite in Sakhir as part of Alba’s commitment to employees’ welfare.
The Camp will remain open for the next three months and available for the use of all Alba employees.
Alba Chief Executive, Laurent Schmitt inaugurated the Alba Camp in presence of Executive Management Team, Managers, Alba Labour Union and other company officials.
“The Alba Camp has been opened for the benefit of each and every member of our workforce whose hard work and team spirit enabled the company to be one of the top aluminium smelters in the world. Our commitment to employee welfare and satisfaction remains a top priority, and the camp is a tangible expression of appreciation to our workforce. Alba employees along with their families are invited to register for the camp. And from our part, we will be providing meals, wood for camp fire, games for children and other recreational facilities to guarantee enjoyable times for all camp visitors,” the company’s Chief Executive, Laurent Schmitt, said.
The Alba Camp will be divided into two sections eight small tents for employees and their families while the other section will include one large tent for the use of departments.
