The Board discussed the issues on the agenda including the latest developments at BHB and reviewed the periodic report of Bahrain Bourse’s performance and GCC capital markets. The Board also reviewed the BHB financial results for the period ended 30th November2011.
The Board reviewed the strategy progress report that shows the achievements made concerning BHB’s strategic plan.
The Board approved a plan aims at implementing Corporate Governance on Bahrain Bourse .The BHB board formed the required committees in accordance to the Governance Charter issued by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and in accordance to the Governance requirements issued by Central Bank of Bahrain. The board also approved the action plan to implement the requirement of Corporate Governance in 2012
The board finally reviewed the reports from the committees that were formed to look into various issues relating to the bourse’s activities, and decided on suitable actions to be taken.
