Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Chairman Dr. Essam Abdullah Fakhro expressed proud anticipation on the occasion of choosing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s as host for the next GCC Summit hailing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Monarch of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for his bold invitation to pass from the phase of cooperation to the phase of unity of all GCC countries in one solid entity so as to accomplish aspirations, ambitions and welfare of the peoples of GCC countries.
BCCI’s chairman Dr. Essam Abdullah Fakhro praised the final communiqué issued by the GCC Summit, citing the GCC countries’ full support to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its wise leadership in all the actions taken so as to preserve national unity, reforms, development, safety, security and stability in the Kingdom and to tackle potential challenges or threats and to open future horizons for GCC citizens.
“It is high time now for GCC common economic work and the activation of the principle of an economic citizenship”, Dr. Fakhro, said.
He praised the Summit’s recommendations for free mobility of citizens between GCC countries and their ability to carry out all types of commercial, economic and professional business activities without exclusions or segregation thus boosting the peoples’ cohesion in one GCC market in compliance with standard regulations for GCC money markets, shares, instruments, securities and investment funds, praising GCC constantly progressive march and achievements which lead to the next link in the process of integration and construction of GCC economic house, pointing out that regional and international environment is teeming with interactions and transformations which call for expediting the steps towards reaching integration and economic unity and easing out any obstacles which may hinder collective GCC work.
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s chairman Dr. Essam Abdullah Fakhro stressed the significance of security and stability without which no economic growth can be realized, hailing His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the wise vision of His Majesty the King included in His Majesty’s speech on the Anniversary of Accession and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day in which His Majesty accentuated that Bahrain remains the institutionalized country of law and order, liberties, tolerance and peaceful co-existence between various religions, ideologies and cultures and openness as the fundamental characteristic of our people and institutions which everybody undertakes to preserve and respecting diversity in all walks of life.
