The Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) organized its second forum in Japan on the diversity of investment advantages and opportunities available for potential investors in the Kingdom of Bahrain in cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Embassy in Tokyo.
The forum was attended by forty leading Japanese businesspeople from the banking, financial, engineering, logistics, renewable energy and water desalination sectors. The forum focused on familiarizing and attracting Japanese firms from Kanto region who would like to invest in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to expand globally.
The participants learned during the forum the features, advantages and opportunities for overseas investments in Bahrain in various fields in addition to shedding light on easy procedures for establishing businesses in Bahrain and the assistance provided by the Kingdom to overseas companies.
The former Japanese commercial attaché Japan’s Embassy in Bahrain spoke to the forum and presented his close experience with the Bahraini business environment and lifestyle. Two leading Japanese newspapers participated in the forum.
Questions from the audience were focused on Bahrain’s aspirations and expectations from Japanese investments and political developments in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
