Information Affairs Authority (IAA) President Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa took part on Monday, alongside Saudi Culture and Information Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohyeddine Khouja, in the inauguration of the media centre which was put in place to cover the 32nd session of the GCC Supreme Council convenes in Riyadh.
Shaikh Fawaz lauded the state-of-the-art centre asserting that it reflects the significance of the event. He also stressed the importance accorded by the GCC leaders to the media sector citing the role played by the Gulf Radio and Television Corporation in preparing a line-up of joint GCC programmes.
The inauguration was also attended by Saudi Culture and Information Ministry Undersecretary for Foreign Media Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh bin Salama.
