HRH also congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and the President of the Supreme Council for Organising the Bahrain International Airshow 2012 and organisers of the show on the great success of the event and the outstanding attendance for the show despite difficulties.
HRH in a statement to Bahrain Television during his tour of the show said that the event formed one of the active points towards opening great horizons for the Kingdom of Bahrain as countries become stronger through relations and communication with others. He also emphasised that the aviation field was one of the bridges that had great benefits for the country and represents part of the economic infrastructure. He said that the show is considered an important destination for investors and projects in addition to a great opportunity to reinforce Bahrain’s position and pushing forward despite political difficulties because a building a strong economy to serve all. HRH said that interaction and discussions through such activities which witness extensive participation was one of the ways to develop oneself and capabilities to serve and revitalizing the economy and continue development programmes serving citizens. He also expressed his pride in the achievements of Bahraini youth in the aviation field and affirmed the importance of supporting it highlighting the fact that Bahrain had great experience in this field through its two companies Gulf Air and Bahrain Air. He also indicated Bahrain’s outstanding achievements in training projects in this field making it an active meeting point not only for Bahrain but for the entire region.
