HM the King also highlighted that the establishment of a national fund to compensate those affected and forming a national committee assigned to supervise the implementation of all recommendations made by the commission was one of the most important steps and initiatives with this regard.
HM was speaking during his meeting with Professor Mahmood Shareef Basouni who had headed the commission on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HM the King lauded the great efforts exerted by Professor Basouni during his tenure in Bahrain emphasizing that the progress of reform in the kingdom would continue and that it was a process open to development and upgrade in manner that was suitable with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting also HM reviewed the progress of the national committee assigned to implement the recommendations of the commission and its efforts towards achieving the duties it has been assigned the in turn would help in reinforcing national unity.
He also affirmed that the Bahrain people are united with an honourable history of love and honest work towards achieving more accomplishments.
