These views were expressed by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister while presiding over the regular, weekly cabinet meeting, at Al-Gudaibiya Palace on Sunday. The Cabinet Secretary-General Dr. Yasser bin Isa Al-Nasser issued the minutes of the Cabinet meeting.
HRH the Prime Minister praised the sincere, patriotic stance expressed by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s people of the various spectrums and components who assembled at Al-Fateh Gathering last Tuesday and showed eagerness on gathering around the national flag under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the invitations emanating from this blessed gathering who called for preservation and protection of our national accomplishments and gains in order to boost national security and stability.
HRH the Premier highlighted the values of patriotism and allegiance to the motherland that prompted Al-Fateh Gathering to express their patriotic stance and to remind us of the glorious patriotic stances of our people which constitute an extension of the stances of our fathers and forefathers.
Bahraini citizens, throughout the ages, have set an example for national responsibility, awareness and national feelings and awareness of the importance of safeguarding the Kingdom’s unity and safety.
The cabinet expressed utmost sorrow and remorse on the demise of six young Bahraini girls in a horrible traffic incident last night and supplicated to Almighty Allah to let their souls rest in vast paradise and to bestow patience and to comfort their bereaved families.
The cabinet has always been committed to following up implementation of the recommendations of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) in compliance with the government’s keenness on implementing BICI’s recommendations. HRH the Prime Minister instructed all government ministries and authorities– each in their own respective domain – to finalize the implementation of BICI’s recommendations under their jurisdiction in coordination with the governmental working team tasked with implementing BICI’s recommendations.
HRH the Prime Minister thanked the governmental working team presided over by Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa and team members for what has been achieved in this aspect in full cooperation with the governmental working team concerned with implementing BICI’s recommendations.
